The nice weather has arrived, with it comes the Trad climbing season and Jurassic Climbing Academy is ready. Whether you are looking to have a steady day at the crag to learn or improve your trad technique or looking at being coached well into the E grades, we can help. What better than to be taken out onto the crag by experienced, qualified, insured coaches and instructors. We cover all UK crags, can supply all equipment if required other than rock shoes and chalk bags. These sessions are available for all abilities, 1:1 trad coaching or groups of up to 4 climbers, and for one or multiple days.
Introduction To Trad Coaching / Course
This is a great session for those who are new to climbing, have only climbed sports routes or have previously only climbed indoors.
We will give you the knowledge and skills necessary to be independent at trad climbing on single-pitch routes. The session will be tailored to your current ability, experience, and goals and we will give you a debrief at the end of your session with advice on how to improve further.

Extreme Trad Coaching / Course
This is a great session for those who have some good general trad climbing experience and are leading to VS/HVS difficulty grades and to 5a/5b technical grade.
We will give you the knowledge and skills necessary to push into the extreme trad climbing grades on single-pitch routes. The session will be tailored to your current ability, experience, and goals and we will give you a debrief at the end of your session with advice on how to improve further.
